You are not obligated to go to every training weekend, or training night, so it can fit well with full time employment, and family life. Throughout the training year, a lot of social events take place. Events such as Burns suppers, Halloween parties, Christmas functions, and some charity events. You will get to enjoy the social side of joining the reserves, as well as the main soldiering aspect of reserve life.
