The Manse Field has been used as a Community Space since at least 1820, it was originally managed be the Heritors of Beith to provide space for use by the Kirk ( but not exclusively) -

It is currently under significant risk of sale by the Church of Scotland to Miller Homes for the creation of 49 high value homes.
The sale would enrich the Church financially by significant funds but more importantly would deprive the community of an invaluable facility for both current and future generations.

There will be no second chances - We as a community have to act now to preserve this space and divert its ongoing control to a Community Organisation.
