Great Denham Parish Council

Great Denham Parish Council Great Denham Parish Council was created in 2007 to serve the needs of the local community.

The initial 249 houses will gradually be increased by another 1500 through ongoing development. Facebook and our web site exists to ensure that as developments in Great Denham progress everybody in the community has the opportunity to keep themselves up to date with the latest news – have your say, sound off, give your views, express your concerns become interactive and have some impact!

It is Fete Day! 🎉

The weather forecast is looking promising, so we are looking forward to a great afternoon at the Great Denham Village Fete.

A few useful things to know before you head down:

🍔 The Archers Rest will be running the BBQ and bar
🍦 There will be an ice cream van
🪑 Feel free to bring your own chairs or picnic rug
🧺 You are also very welcome to bring your own picnic and settle in for the afternoon

We will be there from 12pm–7pm with plenty going on throughout the day.

The Great Denham Village Fete is TOMORROW!

Join us from 12pm–7pm for an afternoon of fun for the whole family.

There is plenty happening throughout the day, including:

• Car and motorcycle show
• Dog show
• Baking competition
• Sports and games
• Bouncy castle
• Brass Band and DJ
• Archers Rest BBQ and bar
• Morris dancers
• Fete Races
• And more!

We are looking forward to seeing all your entries for the Great Denham Village Fete Baking Competition this Sunday!

A quick reminder for everyone entering: please write down a full list of ingredients used in your bake and bring this with you to leave alongside your entry. This is important so that we have clear information about any allergens.

The Great Denham Village Fete is nearly here!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday and keeping our fingers crossed that the weather is kind to us.

We could still use a few extra pairs of hands on the day. If any residents are able to spare some time, we would really appreciate help with:

Set-up: 8am–11am
Marshalling: 12pm–7pm
Clear-up: 6pm–8pm

Even if you can only help for part of one of these periods, it would be very welcome. Just come and see us at the Parish Council tent on the day.

As part of this year’s Great Denham Village Fete, we will be holding a Baking Competition. We would love to see your creations, so get your mixing bowls ready and see if you can impress the judges!

The Great Denham Summer Fete is back on Sunday 30 August, from 12pm to 7pm.
Join us for an afternoon of family fun with live music, sports and games, a bouncy castle, car show, dog show, food, a bar and plenty more.
