Happy Heavenly 94th Birthday to my beautiful Grandma. 🎂💔

Over three years have passed since my best friend, my second mum and my confidant left this earth. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you and wish you were still here.
If you were here today, I’d be making a huge fuss, decorating the house, cooking your favourite things and preparing your birthday buffet. I’d make sure you felt as loved and celebrated as you deserved. ❤️

Although you’re no longer here, I’m so incredibly grateful that you were in my life. I will forever thank God that He chose me to be one of your carers, to care for you and to be with you right until the very end. It was one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Today is your day, Grandma, and we will honour it.

As Chair of Bedford & Kempston Conservatives, and with Richard Fuller MP having previously been our Member of Parliament before becoming the MP for North Bedfordshire, we are all incredibly proud of his achievements.

What a fabulous time at the St Cuthbert’s Street Festival in Bedford!

Bedford really is such a special place. Who needs Camden (London) or the Lanes in Brighton when we have fantastic events like this right on our doorstep?

Positive vibes, brilliant music, delicious food and, most importantly, people, bringing our community together and showcasing what makes Bedford such a great place to live.

I hope we see even more events like this across Bedford. We have so many talented people, fantastic local businesses and brilliant community groups, and it’s wonderful to see them given the opportunity to shine.

A huge well done to everyone involved in making the festival such a success.

REPORTED!

While out speaking with residents today, I came across two abandoned shopping trolleys dumped in a ditch at the back of the estate.

I really believe this sort of behaviour is simply unacceptable. Our neighbourhoods are good places to live, and residents shouldn’t have to put up with people choosing to dump things where they shouldn’t.

I’ve now reported both trolleys to ‘Trolleywise’ and hopefully they’ll be collected soon.

For me, it’s about more than just talking about local issues, it’s about listening to residents, spotting problems and making sure they’re reported and followed up.

I’ll continue getting out and about across Riverfield, speaking to residents and standing up for the community.

We should all take pride in where we live and I’ll always do my bit to help keep our community looking its best.

🌧️ Out and about in Goldington

Yesterday I was out and about in the Goldington Ward with friends from Bedford & Kempston Conservatives. Despite the heavy rain, it was great to get out into the community and speak directly with residents.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop and talk to us. It was really valuable to hear your concerns, discuss what matters locally and pick up issues in the area that need following up.

Getting out and about across Bedford Borough and listening to residents first-
hand is something I always value. Your feedback helps us understand what is happening in our communities and where action is needed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Ukrainian Independence Day celebrations yesterday in Bedford town. 🇺🇦

I feel fortunate to have found such warmth, friendship and kindness within this wonderful community. It was truly moving to stand alongside you all yesterday, united in friendship and solidarity, as we celebrated Ukraine, its people, its beautiful culture and its remarkable spirit. 💙💛

Your strength, courage and resilience are truly inspiring. 💙💛
