Good morning, and apologies to anyone planning to visit the Orchard Tearoom tomorrow, Sunday 3 May. It will be closed all day, we don't have enough available staff to open. Really sorry, but we're open today, and will be open as usual next week.

Still thinking out loud, are there any WI groups locally please? We're putting together a coffee and cake offer for WI groups for their first visit, and I'd like some contact details so I can plan it! Sue

So, I'm just thinking out loud here. Would there be some enthusiasm for a sort of Knit and Natter in the Orchard Tearoom on a weekday morning or afternoon? Reduced price tea/coffee and a piece of cake, somewhere sociable to get together with other crafters?

Moggerhanger Park Plant Fair & Artisan Market 6th June 2026.

We are looking for local plant nurseries, plant specialists,, and producers of artisan, handmade, products and produce, to attend our Plant Fair & Artisan market on the 6th June 2026.

This will be located in our grade II historic Walled Garden, within the grounds of Moggerhanger Park, traders will be required to bring their own set up.

Due to updated weather forecast the park will now close as normal at 4pm, however, the woodland walk will remain closed.

Good morning, we do have to close early today because high winds are forecast and we really don't like squishing our visitors under fallen tree branches. We're in good company locally, as Wrest Park are also closing parts of its grounds for the whole day.
However, our Easter egg trail will be running today from 10.00 until 1.30 and again tomorrow 10.00 until 3.00. There's 12 colourful eggs to find and tick off on your list, fun challenges like singing your favourite song and a few brain teazers for anyone who doesn't want to hop on one foot! Come and join in the fun, it's just a mini egg as a prize, but it's also only £1.50 per child!

Due to developing weather conditions the Woodland Walk will remain closed today (04.04.26) The whole park will be fully closed from 2pm, the cafe will remain open until 2pm, last service at 1.30pm.

We are so disappointed, but the bouncy castle company has cancelled all bookings tomorrow because of the forecast high winds, so we can't deliver our planned event. On the plus side, we've moved our Easter egg trail out of the woodland and into the gardens, so that will go ahead tomorrow and Sunday as planned, so please come along, pick up your trail question sheet from the tearoom and have fun! So sorry, but this is completely out of our control. Sue
