Event 3 of the 2026 Champions Tour rolled into the stunning Lanark Golf Club — and what a day it was. Blistering sunshine, perfect golfing conditions, and a course that remains a firm favourite with so many golfers.

Scoring was superb once again, producing a tightly packed leaderboard.

A special shoutout to all the players competing in their first ever event at Lanark, with some excellent performances throughout. Fan Zhang led the way among the first-timers until James Ellen came in with a superb 38 points to take 2nd overall — and earn himself a nice wee 1.3-shot cut 😁

Congratulations to Bruce MacNab, who won the 10 & Under Handicap prize of a Shot Scope with a fantastic 35 points, just edging out Colin Naules on countback.

Champions Tour stalwart Ian McAra produced a brilliant 39 points to win by one shot and claim the title of Champions Tour 2026 Lanark Champion. Superb golf, Ian — huge congratulations!

Event 2 of the 2026 Champions Tour visitied the Belting Barassie Links - KBGC

A huge thanks to Kerr and his greenkeeping team for presenting a fantastic ourse 👏

Scoring in near perfect conditions was great. Iain Orr briefly held the lead and was looking forward to reciveing an engraved glass from himself🤣however as the day progressed Iain slipped down the leaderboard to eventaully finish 5th.

Barassie 2026 Champion was Chris Gallagher. Chris shot a superb 42 points to win on countback nudging John Stewart into 2nd place. Outstanding golf and a nice wee cut incoming!

Season 9 of the Champions Tour kicked off at the Kracking Kirriemuir Golf Club Ltd
Feedback on the course was very good with many comments describing the greens as outstanding.

Many playing for the course for the 1st time and really enjoyed it.

Derric Hood held the early clubhouse lead on 34 points however Derric ended up slipping down to 6th as the day went on. Brian Williamson posted a very respectable 36 points, great golf Brian.
The day however belonged to Lithgae's finest, Andy Barber. A superb 38 points ensured Andy claimed the title of Kirriemuir Champion 2026. 👏Well played Andy👏

A special mention to the Darlington's. Alison is obviously the golfer in the family finishing above Steve to claim the title of Darlington Kirremuir Champion 😉😉
