1st Popley Scout Group Scout Group - We provide fun activities and life skills to young people between the ages of 6 to 15 in the Popley area!

The Group was first registered in 1975 as St. Gabriels (Popley); in 1986 it amalgamated with 2nd B'stoke North and was renamed 1st Popley (Everest ). in Febuary 2009 it dropped 'Everest' from the title to become '1st Popley'. With 36 years of history we are still going strong!

Today is Founders day so A big thankyou to all the leaders who give up their time not just on a weekly basis but also attending activity days and events.
A very big thankyou to our group leader who does so much behind the scenes.

We currently have spaces available in all of our sections , if you have a child aged between 4-15 who would love to learn new skills and make new friends please get in touch with us.

We meet at St Gabriel’s Church (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts on Tuesdays and Squirrels on Fridays)

We are pleased to announce that 1st Popley Scout Troop are now twinned with Troop 6 Knoxville Marty visits them in the United States and gave a chat to the group and took questions about scouting in the UK, exchanged Kneckers and goodies!
