This weekend we held a Special Action Day to launch our local campaign for the upcoming District and County elections, while also supporting Donna Jones for Mayor in the Hampshire Mayoral election that the Labour government has delayed.

It was fantastic to have such a strong team out on the doors, alongside Ranil Jayawardena. Our shared commitment to seeing strong Conservative representation across Hampshire reflects what so many residents tell us they want: effective leadership and a clear plan for our county.

As the Liberal Democrats continue to fall short both locally and nationally - and with Reform dividing the vote on the right - it’s important to remember that here in North East Hampshire, only the Conservatives can defeat the incumbents and deliver a positive, ambitious vision for our community.

Members of the Conservative Women's Organisation - UK joined local Councillors and volunteers from across the area, helping us reach as many residents as possible.

This is a great campaign by Ranil Jayawardena, clearly showing his passion for his home Hampshire and making it the best it can be. It's definitely worth taking the 60 secs to provide feedback on this at the following webpage:

Take a look and make sure you get your view heard.

🚨 Exciting news for Hampshire! We're launching the "Hampshire to Heathrow" campaign to support a direct rail link connecting the South Western Main Line to Heathrow Airport.

💷 This visionary project will cut journey times, boost our local economy, reduce air pollution, and improve connectivity for communities across Hampshire. And it’s entirely privately funded by Heathrow Southern Rail — so we just need the Government to agree!

✅ If you want an easier journey to Heathrow for your next holiday or business trip, have your say and help shape our future — complete our 60-second survey now!

Here’s an open goal… 🥁

Whilst unemployment is rising, NI is hiked, farmers are up in arms, growth is down, first time buyers have been hit with more stamp duty… Rome is burning…

Our local MP has decided that more women footballers on birthday cards is what she should be focusing on

How out of touch with the reality of life for people in NEH?!

A lack of cards featuring female players undermines efforts to promote women's sport, says a group of MPs.

This is a great initiative and will make a big difference. Utility companies need to pay for the road congestion and commuting issues they cause.

🚧 Hampshire County Council to charge utility companies for disruptive roadworks🚧

Our brilliant colleague Cllr Lulu Bowerman has unveiled plans for a new disruption charge scheme aimed at reducing delays on the county’s busiest roads during peak times.

This initiative, designed to complement the existing permitting scheme, would encourage companies and agencies to better plan their work, operate outside peak hours, and shorten the duration of their projects.

🔹 How It Works: A daily fee would be charged for the duration of the work, including any delays. Surplus revenues would fund innovative projects to reduce streetworks and roadworks disruption and will also be reinvested into highway maintenance.

🔹 Already in use in parts of the UK, 'lane rental' charges apply to the most congested, strategically important local roads. Hampshire could charge up to £2,500 per day, the maximum allowed under current legislation.

Stay tuned for updates and have your say during the consultation period! 🛣️

Our MP found herself being scolded by a minister in Parliament after her apparently anti democratic statement.

Labour Minister Jim McMahon said

"We need to be careful that we do not undermine the democratic process by trying to portray councillors who believe in their communities and who by and large are doing a good job, regardless of party politics, as somehow not there by right."

As Alex Brewer once again focuses on party politics, rather than just failing residents she now undermines UK democracy.

The irony as she sits in her 5 year role whilst criticising the extension of other elected representatives to serve the same time as her demonstrates how little she cares about representing us and more about how much she wants to play party politics.

As Hampshire works towards Labour's mandated change of devolution and Local Government Reform, residents should expect her to be working on helping manage this process, rather than try to score political points at the expense of damaging democracy here.

Once again our LibDem representative Alex Brewer MP, decided to vote with Labour.

She voted to tax you if you need to replace your boiler. This isn't a move for sustainability. It’s an attack and a further tax on hard working people.

North East Hampshire deserves better.

A vote for anyone but Conservative is a vote for Labour.

Leader of Hampshire County Council, Cllr Nick Adams-King shares an update about the devolution proposals and a combined authority in Hampshire.
