Wednesday - Kayaking, pioneering, I’m an explorer get me out of here and Ritz, plus another ScoutsCymru visitor - Sue Benbow, regional lead volunteer for West Wales

A late Sunday Sumup!! Last week we had picnic, water fight, superhero and sandcastle competition!!

It’s the end of our first day on camp, all the scouts are in bed (although not yet asleep)….Explorers are chilling!

We can’t promise to send updates every day, but hope we can….tomorrow we’ll catch up with the other sections too

Scouts and Explorers have arrived at Landshipping; sleeping tents are pitched and everyone is now having lunch. Site infrastructure is progressing too…more later!

Congratulations Blanka (one of our Patrol Leaders) from all at 1st Barry Sea Scouts

We have some absolutely outstanding news to share about Blanka - Having already earned her place at the Junior Mathematical Olympiad off the back of her brilliant Junior Challenge result, she went on to compete against 1,200 of the brightest mathematical minds in the UK — and finished in the top 40 in the country with a remarkable score of 55 out of 60!

From everyone in the Maths department and across the whole of SRG — we are so incredibly proud of you, Blanka. What an extraordinary achievement! 👏💛
