Our next Shout-Out Sunday goes to the wonderful Ulverston Blue Light Hub and Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service! 🚒

The Blue Light Hub, managed by Cumbria Fire, is a fantastic multi-purpose space, also utilised by Cumbria Police and North West Ambulance Service.

As a team, we use it for regular training, assessments, as well as kit storage, from oxygen cylinders to CPR mannequins 🫀

Thanks again 💚

We want to hear from you! Please take a minute to read!

We're trying our best to get our social media going again, as we know the importance of sharing what we do in helping raise awareness and fundraise.

That being said - you may notice that this social media has quiet periods. This is because we're all volunteers, many of us with careers and family alongside our responding.

Whilst we're in one of these quieter periods, let us know what you'd like to see from this page in the comments 👇

Our first ever Shout-Out Sunday goes to BAE Systems in Barrow and BaxterStorey!

A huge shout-out to BAE Systems' business in Barrow-in-Furness for giving permission and to BaxterStorey for their practical support in placing Furness Community First Responder Team collection tins in the canteens in their shipyard.

Personnel at the yard have donated over £220 to the Furness CFR team. This will help provide our volunteer responders with both training and potentially life-saving equipment for use when allocated by the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust to patients experiencing serious medical emergencies.

Every penny will be used to support local people having a really bad day - we simply could not provide this service without your support! Thank you very much from all the Furness Community First Responders.

- do you have a business, or do you know someone with a business in the local area? Are you able to support us by taking on a collection tin? Please share this post to spread the word and get in touch if you can help: [email protected]
