We know we’ve been a little quiet on here recently… but behind the scenes, there’s been something really special taking shape ✨

We’re so excited to introduce our new venture — our outreach yurt… and it truly feels like MAGIC 🌿

From this unique and welcoming space, we’ll be offering an outreach service for the community of Barrow-in-Furness and beyond. Our aim is simple: to reach families where they are, listen to and understand local needs, and provide meaningful, supportive connections that make a real difference.

We’ve brought together a dedicated multi-agency team, combining expertise from parenting support and private sector professionals. Alongside this, we truly value the knowledge and lived experience of the families we work with—because they are at the heart of everything we do. By working together, we can respond to and address the needs of our community, creating a holistic approach that nurtures children and empowers families every step of the way.

We might not have a magic wand… but we do have the passion, experience, and belief that positive change is always possible 💜

We can’t wait to share more with you soon…

🌟 Exciting job opportunities 🌟

Full and part time roles available.

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and fun practitioners to be part of our ever growing nursery team. The right candidates will always strive to make learning opportunities exciting for all of our children, be able to be flexible to meet the needs of individual children but most importantly-caring!

Pay is in accordance with experience and qualifications. Having a level 3 or above qualification is desirable, however we will consider applicants who are aspiring to work towards this. If you feel you are interested in either of these positions, then please email a CV including two employee references and a cover letter to [email protected]

What a wonderful Christmas celebration at Roose Nursery! 🎄✨ The children loved our Christmas party, dancing along to festive music and having lots of fun with their friends. The excitement continued with a very special visit from Santa, who made sure each child received a present A day full of joy, laughter, and special memories 🎅🎁

The children were absolutely delighted to receive a thank you message from Santa himself after taking part in our Elf Run! 🎄🏃‍♂️

We are so proud of everyone who joined in, showed amazing enthusiasm, and helped make the day so special. What a magical way to celebrate the festive season! 🎁❄️

The final amount that has been collected by the hospice is 1172.00 ✨

Well done, little elves and all of our families and friends of Roose Nursery – Santa is very proud of you! 💜

�A huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Elf Run this year — what an incredible day it was! 🥰

We’re thrilled to share that so far together we have raised £1,112.42 for St Mary's Hospice! 🎉
�Your support means so much and will make a real difference.

We ask that all last donations are made by Friday 12th December ✨

✨ What an amazing day at Roose Nursery! ✨

Our little stars have been busy spreading festive cheer while making a big difference! Today, the children took part in our Elf Dash followed by a magical Christmas Scavenger Hunt, all in aid of St Mary’s Hospice. 🎄💚

From excited giggles and speedy elf runs to joyful discoveries along the scavenger trail, every moment was filled with energy, teamwork, and Christmas spirit. We are so proud of every single child for joining in with such enthusiasm and kindness.

A huge thank you to our wonderful staff, families, and supporters for helping make this event so special. Together, we’re helping support the incredible work done by St Mary’s Hospice—and having plenty of festive fun along the way!
