Braiden Corton felt the full wrath of one of our Grass Carp. True to form, they come in like a wet blanket and then batter you on the bank. This one couldn’t resist a 12mm Sweet dnabaits pop‑up on a free‑running lead, with a few handfuls of house pellet scattered along the far margin.

The fish was a bit bruised in places, but Braiden made good use of his carp‑care kit. Another one for the album. 24lb 6oz.
