Well done all at The Cutesy Co. Wedding, Party & Events!! I was hoping to pop in today but look forward to seeing your new showroom soon on Bargoed high street soon. It will be weird being back in my old office! 😄
THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU to everyone to popped by today to see us for our opening day. What a busy day it turned out to be!
I just wanted to take a minute to reflect on the last 41 days since collecting the keys for our new building.
What a busy 41 days it has been, we've completed FORTY TWO weddings/events 😬🫠. Our van was off the road for atleast a week of that which made things a little tricky but we made sure each and every wedding and event had our 100% attention.
Now our opening day is over I'd personally like to say a huge thankyou to the people behind the scenes that made all this happen - at one point I never thought we would make it!
To my amazing husband Mark, endless dad mode moments thoughout the summer, painting, laying floors, fixing things, drilling things, putting up shelves and rails, ironing things for weddings 😬😂, cancelling our family holidays and days out to make things happen for us! The poor man has held me up this last 41 days, I better book him a weekend fishing soon 😂. ❤️
To my wonderful mother Mandy whos dedicated endless hours to me this last 41 days sorting boxes and boxes and boxes of props, sorting and organising, cleaning, every corner of a building that hasn't been touched in 7 years. A holiday is definitely in order for her 💓.
To my lovely brother and sister in law Craig and Rachel, Craig did endless hours of painting. Laying carpets, fitting our kitchen and appliances, stopping leaks, fixing stuff helping us lump shift and carry two buildings worth of stuff into our new home and so much more. And thankyou to Rachel for assisting with so many weddings, ironing hundreds and hundreds of bows, sorting, cleaning and organising ❤️
To my dad for borrowing a big van from his works and helping us move all our big bulky items from our warehouse. Ive learnt engineering jenga now 😬😂
To our great friend Rich for painting our stairs, foyer and front window because nobody would volunteer and were fed up of painting by that point 😂.
And also to the kiddies, so much of the labour carrying boxes, handing out leaflets, and moving hundreds of carpet tiles from upstairs to downstairs and breaking down 10 million ikea boxes 📦
This list makes it sound like I did absolutely nothing, but I promise I can now use a drill, a jigsaw, fit sinks, lay floors, not cut myself with a Stanley knife and paint without getting it on the carpets 🤔😂.
Thankyou so much 💓
Time for a gin 🍸
