Last year's fun and friendly sessions saw almost 40 locals learn this life saving skill from our expert trainer.

Come along to Banwell Youth & Community Centre on Thursday 17th September at 7pm or Saturday 26th September at 10am.
Or
Mead Fields Hub on Saturday 19th September at 10am or Thursday 24th September at 7pm.

These are the locations of the Defibrillators which are provided and maintained by the Parish Council.

There is now one located at Mead Field Manor Care Home.

The Brewers Arms also have one.

In case of emergency, the website defibfinder.uk will direct you to your closest Defibrillator on foot or by car.

🐾 A little reminder for everyone using the Recreation Ground🌳

The Recreation Ground is a shared space for everyone to enjoy — particularly children and families.

Please remember that dogs are not allowed on the Recreation Ground. This includes dogs being walked, exercised or allowed off the lead.

We appreciate that dogs are an important part of many people’s lives, but keeping the Rec dog-free helps ensure it remains a safe, clean and welcoming space for everyone — especially children who are playing.

🐕 Please do not bring dogs onto the Recreation Ground. Assistance dogs are the only exception.

⚠️ Please be aware that you can be fined for having a dog on the Recreation Ground.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Help us keep this community space safe and enjoyable for children and families.

Thank you to everyone who already helps keep the Rec a safe and welcoming place for our community.

Everyone is welcome - a voluntary donation of £2.50 per person is requested

Join us tomorrow Monday 7th September for the monthly better health walk, get out in the in fresh air, enjoy a chat, and feel the benefits of moving more – no matter your pace.

📅 The First Monday of every Month at 11:00 AM
📍Youth and Community Centre, BS29 6DB

Our walks are social, gentle, open to all — part of the North Somerset initiative supporting better health in our communities.

Please note: Only assistance dogs are permitted on the walk, and we recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate footwear and clothing.
