Interesting - the candidate number 6 ‘Celfyn Furlong’ who in February this year won the by-election for ‘Ynys Gybi’, Holyhead, is a Reform candidate for the constituency of ‘Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd’

Less than three months into the job, is Mr Furlong already thinking of quitting the job as an Anglesey County Councillor for the ward of Ynys Gybi 🤔

I’m sure the people of ‘Brycheiniog Tawe Nedd’ will be so thrilled to have a non local candidate standing in the Senedd Elections for their community.

List of candidates:-

1-James Evans
2- lain Mclntosh
3-David Mills
4-Stephanie Moira Charles
5-Dewi Thomas
6-Celfyn Furlong

A little bit far from home isn’t it…

I see old Anglesey Aluminium’s big corporate brothers Rio Tinto are still raiding government coffers around the globe, on this occasion in Australia 👇

Rio Tinto, the federal and state governments have struck a landmark partnership to secure the long-term future of the Boyne aluminium smelter.

BIN NIGHT - HOLYHEAD

It was PUT THE BINS OUT NIGHT, last night in parts of Holyhead, Anglesey, North Wales.

The Ynys Môn / Anglesey Council, led by Plaid Cymru, requires residents of this Victorian Terrace in Holyhead to place their bins on the pavement instead of leaving them behind gates, as the bin collectors are not permitted to collect from behind gates.
This practice has resulted in obstructions on long, long lengths of pavements, creating difficulties for pedestrians, disabled individuals using wheelchairs, parents with pushchairs, and others - The accompanying video illustrates the resulting pavement obstruction.

The Green Party, particularly in local council roles, has a strong, documented emphasis on prioritizing pedestrian-friendly, accessible, and safe pavements.

The Green Party approach focuses on reducing street clutter, curbing pavement parking, and enhancing pedestrian infrastructure.

Residents of Ynys Môn / Anglesey and indeed throughout Wales are encouraged to consider alternative options for safer streets in upcoming elections and Vote Green in the Senedd constituency of ‘Bangor Conwy Môn’.
