🎥 Watch | Education Minister Paul Givan has announced that three major works projects for Ballyclare High School - Official , St Brigid's College / Coláiste Bhríde and Belfast High School which were previously paused due to budget constraints, will now advance to the planning and design stage.

When delivered, the capital investment across the three schools will exceed £200 million, helping provide modern, fit-for-purpose learning environments for future generations.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT | Education Minister Paul Givan has launched a public consultation on legislative proposals to support mobile phone-free schools, alongside strengthened guidance which makes clear that schools should be phone-free.

This follows the publication of an independent evaluation by King's College London of the Department's Mobile Phone-Free Schools Pilot, which found that restricting access to smartphones during the school day helped create calmer, safer and more focused learning environments.
