🌿 There are even more reasons to visit Drum this season.
Open Thu-Mon until 31 May, then daily all summer.
Plan your visit at https://brnw.ch/VisitDrum.May26
🖼️ The free exhibition, 'Ash Rise at Drum', is the last stop on SFMA’s national tour of contemporary works by 20 Scottish makers. Each stunning piece – from guitars to urns – was crafted from the same naturally felled tree, highlighting the impact of ash dieback on Scotland’s natural heritage.
🏰 Then take time to explore the medieval tower house on a guided tour, packed with stories from 700 years of Scottish history, from Robert the Bruce to Bonnie Prince Charlie.
🌳 After the exhibition and a castle tour, head outdoors to experience nature springing to life again among the centuries-old oaks of the Old Wood of Drum, one of the last remnants of the great Caledonian Forest.
🌹The spring light also brings welcome warmth and vibrant colours back to the gardens and grounds, with lots of new plantings and peaceful corners to explore.
🚸 Little Oaks Natural Playpark is open again too, with new tree structures to explore and over an acre of space to burn off that weekend energy!
🍰 And when you’re ready for a break, enjoy lunches, cakes and ice creams in the old castle kitchens, or pick up a takeaway for a relaxed picnic in the grounds.
