It's Carers Week and today we attended the Carers Celebration Event at the CBS Arena. We had a wonderful day meeting people from lots of different services, as well as, most importantly, Young Carers and their families. We had some lovely chats and shared lots of sweets and lollies! 🍬🍭

We are so grateful to the Rotary Club of Warwick, England for once again making it possible for our Young Carers to have an incredible day out at Warwick Castle. 🏰 Kids Out is such an amazing initiative. Thank you!
We managed to dodge most of the showers whilst taking in the brilliant Medieval Battle and incredible Birds of Prey along with lots of other fun activities. 🦅
Thanks to our volunteers for joining us, and to schools for recognising the importance of this respite opportunity and authorising absences for all those involved.

Our Young Carers were firing on all cylinders at Laser Tag yesterday! All that running round certainly built up an appetite, so we finished the session with 🍕 and 🍟.
It is thanks to Severn Trent and players of the we have been able to support so many Young Carers to access vital respite in recent months.

What a glorious day it was yesterday for a trip to Stratford Butterfly Farm. 🦋 Young Carers then had a walk to McDonald's in the sunshine for a meal and a natter. 🙂

Yesterday afternoon our Young Carers from North Warwickshire were welcomed by the lovely team at Litly Ceramics Studio. It was such a calming, chilled, relaxing and creative afternoon. We have some very talented painters among us!
It's so important for Young Carers to get these moments of quiet and calm in their often busy lives.

We had a lively group this week! The weather was on our side so we had lots of fun in the sun playing bedminton and scarecrow tig! Thanks to our fab volunteers Andy and Paula for their energetic support!

Our group in last week was full of little joys, friendship, fun and laughter! We love seeing our Young Carers being able to relax and forget about their responsibilities for a few hours. Thanks to our volunteers and funders for making these opportunities possible.

We had so much fun at our Group last night! Rock painting, Hide and Seek, football, table tennis, games. It was all happening! Give our Young Carer a huge round of applause for learning to play a tune on the piano in less than 5 minutes! Thanks Nicole for the lesson! We feel a concert coming on! Thanks also to Bedworth Civic Hall for hosting us and to our amazing volunteers for their support.
