This traditional Irish cottage would have been what most people would have lived in the 1800s and even as late as up to the 1970s. Would u like to stay here ? It comes with homemade breakfast of traditional Irish bread along with farm fresh eggs, milk and butter from our dairy farm! You will also have turf supplied so it really will take you back to the old days cooking on the fire. Pm me for more details !!

Are you a history buff or just fascinated by ancient history?

Did u know that in 1942 there was an ancient burial urn found on our ground! My granda and his father were ploughing the field with a horse and plough and as it went over the urn my granda fell into it! The place in which it was found can still be seen. There has also been flint knives and hammers found about 10 years ago when a field in the same area was ploughed!
