Acknowledgement Notice - Jill Hoey

HOEY - The family of the late Jill Hoey wish to express sincere thanks to all their kind friends, colleagues, extended family and church family who sympathised with and supported them in so many ways, during their recent bereavement.

Our thanks to all who attended Jill's service of thanksgiving, called with gifts, sent cards, letters, telephoned or helped in any way.

Special thanks to Pastors Pip Kerr and Rhonda Adams from Ballymena Elim Church for their never-ending care and support for our Mum and the greater family through this difficult time.

Special thanks also to all the staff in Braefield Nursing Home and Rylands Nursing Home for their loving care and tenderness towards Mum over this past three years.

Finally, recognition and thanks to Mr Alan Francey and staff of Alan Francey Funeral Directors, for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Also, to Iris’ Farmhouse Cuisine for providing the catering on the day.

GREER, William Robert (Willie), passed away peacefully on 4th June 2026 at Antrim Area Hospital. Late of Camphill Care Home and formerly of 55 Glebe Road, Ahoghill. Loving husband of Mamie, devoted father of Colette, Heather and Colin, father-in-law of Philip, Laurence and Kellie. Proud and loving grandfather of Rikki, Michael, Laura, Gary, Peter and Alyson, great grandfather of Oliver, Annie, and Ida and cherished brother of James, Elizabeth, Margaret, Kathleen, David and the late Agnes.

House Private.

Following a private family service the interment took place in Townhill Cemetery, Portglenone on Sunday 7th June 2026.

WILSON (née O’Kane), Mary Bridget (Bessie) R.I.P. passed away peacefully on 2nd June 2026 at Antrim Area Hospital, formerly of Eden, Portglenone. Much loved wife of the late Matthew Wilson, devoted mother of Elizabeth, Jennifer, Yvonne, William and Ian, loving grandmother, great grandmother and dear sister.

Service of remembrance for the life of Bessie was held in her daughter Elizabeth’s home on Monday 8th June 2026, followed by a private cremation.

Much loved husband of the late Elizabeth (Betty), loving father to Elizabeth, Muriel, Sandra, Michelle and the late Junior, father-in-law to Derek and Bill, a precious grandfather to all of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A service of remembrance for the life of Samuel was held in his daughter Muriel’s home on Saturday 30th May 2026, followed by interment in Ballee New Cemetery.
