Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge - National Trust

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge - National Trust Suspended high over the Atlantic Ocean, cross a 20-metre chasm to the rocky island of Carrick-a-Rede.
(1)

Connected to the cliffs by a rope bridge across the Atlantic Ocean, Carrick-a-Rede Island is home to a single building, a fisherman's cottage. Suspended almost 100 ft (30 m) above sea level, the rope bridge was first erected by salmon fishermen 350 years ago. As a conservation charity we are committed to preserving and protecting our special places and spaces for everyone to enjoy.
