Would you like to become a Community First Responder in any of the following areas, we would like to hear from you.
At present, our team cover the following areas, from Ballypatrick - Torr Head - Fair Head - Ballycastle - Ballintoy - Dunseverick - Liscolman - Mosside - Armoy - Glenshesk.
Please note: We are happy to discuss further areas leading off our already covered zones. If volunteers come available.

We are updating our records prior to a recruitment drive for 2026. Therefore, we are now seeking expressions of interest, from anyone interested in joining our team, and making a difference, by strengthening the Chain of Survival in our community.
Any expressions of interest automatically consent to data sharing with our partners, namely,
Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) and Dalriada Urgent Care (DUC).

Essential criteria:
β Min. 18years old
β Full driving licence, with access to a vehicle
β Effective communicator (written and verbal)
--a caring nature
β Willing to undertake an Enhanced AccessNI check
β Be prepared to undertake clinical and non-clinical training, and attend update training
β Be willing and able to provide emergency first aid, when available.
β Physically fit to carry out the duties of the role
β Participate in fundraising for the scheme
β Attend min. 2 calls per month (dependent)

Community First Responders (CFRs) provide critical, life-saving support in the vital minutes before an emergency ambulance arrives.
