All the Mull engines are back together at Rudyard in Staffordshire

Victoria from the former Mull railway is running the trains today at Rudyard Lake in Staffordshire

Beautiful autumnal day today, so why not enjoy the dry weather and join us for a ride in our all weather coaches on our little railway by the lake.

We are running 11am till 3pm,

Fares are - £5.50 per adult return, £3.00 per child return.

This weekend is our last weekend running before our Twilight Express and Santa Specials in December (santa specials tickets are still available, please look at our website for details how to book)

This weekend to commemorate remembrance day the veterans and those in military can travel for free (proof of service will be required, 1 adult per family).

Former mull railway stock running today at Rudyard Lake in in the Staffordshire Peak District

The rain is keeping away at the moment and we are ready to go with our all weather coaches being pulled by Frances today!

We are running rain or shine from 11am until 4pm,

Sadly this scheme is very unlikely to happen. It will join the list of great railways which were never built.

Sadly the railway from Mull will not be coming to Balloch. The interminable discussions about the route with Scottish Enterprises and local authorities mean that time has run out and the need to clear the railway from Mull by October means its all been put up for sale.
A new Balloch & Loch Lomond Railway Company has been registered in Scotland. Any new railway which eventually emerges is likely to be 12.25 inch gauge which has a greater carrying capacity.

Victoria after passing her annual boiler examination at Rudyard 26 July 2012

We have managed to get a " new" injector for Victoria from ebay and after some attention from the volunteers at Rudyard it works well.
After the annual boiler inspection its hoped to run her over the remainder of the Summer.
