A huge thank you to everyone who attended Bakewell Town Council’s Annual Town Meeting and contributed so positively to the conversation about the future of our town.

The passion, ideas and community spirit shown throughout the evening were truly inspiring. From transport and accessibility to climate action, local business, tourism and community wellbeing, the discussions highlighted just how much people care about Bakewell and its future.

Bakewell Town Council will now be following up on the matters raised and will begin setting a timetable for the creation of working groups and the development of practical action plans to help turn ideas into reality.

Together, we can continue building a stronger, greener and even better Bakewell for everyone.

Bakewell Town Council is looking for residents, young people, parents, skaters, BMX riders, scooter users and community supporters to join a new Bakewell Skate Park Working Group.
