Buckinghamshire Archives We are the County Archives and Local Studies Library for the historic county of Buckinghamshire.

We offer a range of resources to support research in family, local and house history in the county. We aim to acquire and preserve archival and research materials relating to the historic county of Buckinghamshire and promote their use and enjoyment to serve cultural, educational, recreational, and administrative needs of present and future generations.

We're pleased to announce our rescheduled date for our new talk, 'Witchcraft and the Archive'! This talk will cover historic witch trials, evidenced through documents in our collection and beyond.

Sadly the previous version of this talk had to be cancelled due to staff sickness, so we have rescheduled the talk to Friday the 26th of June at 10:30am.

Due to the huge interest we received on this talk last time, we're hoping to run it again on a future Saturday and record the session, so if you're not able to attend this time, don't worry!

To help celebrate Pride Month, we'll be visiting Patch in High Wycombe for a brand new talk!

Join us for this free talk about our Lost Victorian Voices project, currently on display at Wycombe Museum. We'll be explaining the research process of discovering historic LGBTQ+ voices in our collection, and what stories we uncovered. This project was only possible thanks to the support of The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
