Borrow them from the Library, just like a book!

Why use a blood pressure monitor? It’s important to ! Untreated high blood pressure increases the risk of heart attack and stroke. It’s estimated that 1 in 4 UK adults has high blood pressure.

To help more people know their numbers, our libraries have blood pressure monitors available to borrow across Devon and Torbay. Free to borrow with a library card, they can be loaned for up to three weeks! 💚

Worried about being scammed but unsure how to spot one?

We have a free drop-in session planned for April 23rd here in the Library. Pop along and ask the specially-trained staff for help and advice. Spread the word to anyone who may be vulnerable and need support.

Local author, Sally Gordon, will be coming in to read one of her books 'Do You Dream of Dinosaurs?', along with some associated crafts!

Follow the children on their journey through the historic streets of Lyme Regis and along the Jurassic Coast to find a fossil of their own. Do they find one? Come and find out!

A perfect way to celebrate 25 years of the Jurassic Coast being designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! 🦖🦕🌊🐚

There’s high demand for our 10 most wanted titles, and many eager customers are waiting to borrow them. We’ve purchased as many copies as our budget allows, but if you’re able to help, we’d be truly grateful.

If you have a pristine copy, you’ve finished reading - whether it’s one you bought yourself or received as a gift - you can donate it at any library in Devon or Torbay. We’ll add it to our collection to help reduce the waiting list.
