Welcome to Ochil Tower School, an independent residential school for children and young people with additional support needs based in Auchterarder.

Our school is grounded in the ethos of the Camphill Movement, which creates communities where people can live and work together in healthy social relationships, based on mutual care and respect. Central to this is valuing each person as a unique being of intrinsic worth, with potential for spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical development and change.

On Thursday, 14th May, 66 of our young people and staff headed to Killin for a fantastic Ascension Day outing! 🙌

After powering up with a quick snack, the group tackled a fairly impressive hill. We are incredibly proud to say that everyone climbed higher than they did last year, with a few determined hikers making it all the way to the very top!

The day was packed with community spirit, from fun on the playground to a massive shared picnic lunch, before we finally made our way back home to Auchterader. 🧺🌳

It was a beautiful celebration that kept us connected to each other and allowed us to appreciate the stunning Scottish nature. ☀️✨

23 Miles, 1 Mission: Our Kiltwalk Recap! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👣

We’re still buzzing! Our team smashed the 23-mile Kiltwalk from Glasgow Green to Loch Lomond in just 7.5 hours.

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised £830! This allows us to purchase a new defibrillator for Ochil Tower School, keeping our community safe.

Our colleague, who persevered through the entire distance without stopping, shared:

"The atmosphere was fantastic—everyone was supportive and encouraging. As a team, we motivated each other to keep going. It’s a great community event that reflects our values of living, learning, and growing together."

Last year, Ochil Tower was awarded the Community Discovery Pass from Dynamic Earth 🌍✨

Over the past 12 months, our children and young people have had the opportunity to explore this incredible attraction, discovering the wonders of science through hands-on experiences.
