Royal Meadow Play Area Update

Unfortunately, the safety surfacing at Royal Meadow Play Area has been damaged as a result of vandalism.

A temporary notice has been installed while we await the installation of fencing to make the area safe and secure. We are currently arranging the necessary repairs and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please take extra care when using the play area until the works are completed.

This award celebrates developments of fewer than 10 dwellings/units or less than 1,000 square metres, including extensions and the conversion of buildings to new uses.

It could be an individual new home, a small development, an extension or a sensitively designed conversion.

North Warwickshire Borough Council reacts with fury to Government decision to 'pause' Local Government Reorganisation

North Warwickshire Borough Council's Leader has reacted with fury to the Government's announcement that the reorganisation of Councils in Warwickshire is to be 'paused' for an unspecified amount of time. The Government announced in 2024 that it would abolish all Borough, District and County Councils in England, replacing them with a number of Unitary Councils bringing together all services the previous 'two tiers' of Councils currently provide.

Nominations are invited for high quality larger developments of 10 or more dwellings/units, or developments of at least 1,000 square metres, that make a positive contribution to North Warwickshire.

Think new housing developments, commercial or industrial schemes, major community facilities and other substantial developments.

If a completed development has made a real difference to a place, we want to hear about it.
