Marking remarkable milestones - 100 years & counting!

Clubs celebrating a remarkable milestone are being invited to take centre stage at this year’s Club Awards.

The Club Awards continue to include a special “100 Club” celebration, recognising clubs that have reached their centenary between November 2025 and November 2026. As part of the celebrations, qualifying clubs will be invited as guests to the prestigious Club Awards, taking place on 25 November 2026 at Athena in Leicester.

A BOLTON singer who became an overnight social media sensation after a viral performance brought plenty of star quality to Stalybridge.

Sheila Diamond entertained a packed audience at Stanley Square Conservative Club, where members turned out in numbers to see the singer perform following her rise to internet fame.

The 63-year-old captured the attention of hundreds of thousands online after footage of her singing ‘Freed from Desire’ at East Ward Conservative Club in Chorley went viral. The clip has attracted more than 430,000 likes on Instagram and led to appearances on BBC Breakfast and North West Tonight.
