Anime and Manga Society at Tameside Central Library The meets are the last Saturday of every month 12.30-2pm, ages 13-18 ONLY. The meets consist of all sorts of banter and fun.

Come and join in with a our fun, it's completely free ^w^ The Anime and Manga Society is a youth club run for 13-18 year olds to discuss their relevant interests and meet new people. When it began in 2007, the staff run club would meet regularly to discuss the variety of manga from the library, and the associated anime. Since it was taken over by volunteers in 2010, the club now enjoys a plethora of media including manga, anime, movies, TV, graphic novels, books and video games.

Ashton-Under-Lyne bus station is a 5 minute walk from the library. A wide variety of buses spanning much of the Tameside and some of the Manchester area are available from the station, allowing for easy access to the library. Some point this year or next trams will be implemented.
