1SK thoroughly enjoyed their art reward morning at the Upper Site - earned for all their brilliant phonics work this year.

They took part in a range of art activities, including creating pictures with pastels and paint and creating their own sandcastles using tissue paper. 🖌🎨👩‍🎨

What a treat! In the Year of Reading we were invited to a live session where we welcomed illustrator-turned-author .

He showed us step-by-step how to draw Jello (one of his book characters), then surprised us by creating a brand-new character live using our suggestions — and we drew along with him! 🎨 📚

We are thrilled to announce that our recent 'Spare Change Book Store' raised a grand total of £297.84.

This money will be spent enhancing the library at Bothal Upper Site. A huge thank you to anyone who donated books or attended the sale.

Do you have any old, unwanted phones?

We are currently on the hunt for a range of old phones for a Year 1 History topic that we will be studying at Bothal Academy in September.

We are looking for a range of phones including mobiles, landlines and rotary phones from across the ages and they do not need to work.
