Headcorn Southern Model Show

Firstly, thank you to all who came and supported our show again this year, and by the comments we are continuing to receive, it appears that you all had a great time and are looking forward to hearing when next year’s show will be held. The dates will be announced in the next few weeks so that you have plenty of time to make your plans.

PLEASE BE AWARE!
A couple of years ago, we found out that there is another Facebook Group which was created using our name and it now seems our copywrited logo and registered Trademark, which was updated by them in June this year. They are also using photographs that we have posted on this group without any permissions granted by us.

Our team are also very concerned because we are aware that there have been some videos posted on that site which are asking for payment to view them via credit card. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH US – PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO VIEW ANYTHING. We are absolutely not associated in anyway with this site and if any of you are following them or have joined the group unknowingly, we would suggest that you leave that group right away.

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL HEADCORN SOUTHERN MODEL SHOW GROUP TO WHICH MOST OF YOU HAVE BELONGED AND SUPPORTED FOR SOME CONSIDERABLE TIME – We take no responsibility for what they post, or any content contained in any of their posts.

We have tried over the past couple of years to get Facebook to take the group down and also more recently, however we have not had support from Facebook at all on this matter.

Well another year over and out, WOW the support from the trade,pilots, boating clubs, cars, rock crawlers, steam engines, catering teams, show support staff was fantastic.

We do have a few honorable mentions that must be said without whom the event wouldn't happen

Beverley J Clark her tireless work with booking traders in and running the top gate is amazing.

Jim Beagley generally being wherever he is needed helping bev and the show layout take a real weight off the backs of others

Derrick Hill running the boat pond and displays, never fails to impress.

Simon Potter gathering the pilots and organising the displays always keeping something in the air to entertain.

Martin John Painter and John Tancock
Their effortless waffle mixed with fact and info on microphones keeping smiles on people faces all weekend long

Carl Gardner setting up running the pa and power for the event always trying to make the speakers blow out on the Saturday night.

Phoenix fireworks Louise Eighteen David Eighteen Danny Cosby with all the challenges of the year with the dry conditions making the decision to just focus on the Saturday night firework display had to be seen to be believed incredible.

James Wigley G1 fire and rescue service and security. James and the team who covered the site from Friday till Monday morning always easy to deal with and absolute professionals.

Now we know we can't mention everyone so our thanks go out to everyone who took part, thankyou for you continued support.
