🌍 WALK FOR NEPAL FLOOD RELIEF🌍

Today, our Clerk and Cllr Matthew Bridger, Mayor of Kennington, were pleased to attend the Charity Track Walk organised by Sagarmatha Gurkha Nepalese Community at the Julie Rose Stadium, showing their support for families affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. They even managed to complete a few laps of the track! 👟👏

The event is still ongoing today, so there’s still time to get involved and help make a difference.

Whether you can walk, sponsor someone, or simply make a donation, every contribution counts. ❤️

Funds raised will help provide vital support, including:
🏠 Emergency shelter
🍚 Food and clean water
🏥 Medical supplies

📍 Julie Rose Stadium
⏰ Today: 08:00 – 14:00

If you can’t make it along, please consider supporting this important cause by donating here:

🚦Good news! 🚦
We’re pleased to see that the lights at the corner of Canterbury Road and Bybrook Road are now working and, this time, seem to be properly synchronised too! 🙌

This is something our council and councillors has been working on and chasing to get sorted, alongside our borough councillors, so it’s great to finally see the issue resolved.

Hopefully they’ll stay that way!
