The next Ageing Without Children (AWOC) East Kent meeting takes place in Ashford on Thursday 17th September.

Whether you are already ageing without children, are thinking about the future, or simply want to connect with others in a similar situation, this is an opportunity to share experiences, talk openly and find out about support available locally.

🌳 Damson Season Has Arrived in the Kingsnorth Community Orchard! 💜

Did you know that our Community Orchard is home to 3 damson trees that are currently laden with fruit?

Kingsnorth residents are warmly invited to visit the orchard to pick some damsons, which are a versatile fruit that can be used to make:

🫙 Jams and preserves
🥧 Pies, crumbles and tarts
🍷 Fruit wines and liqueurs
🍯 Chutneys and sauces
🍰 Cakes and puddings
🧃 Juices and cordials

Please remember to pick responsibly, take only what you can use, leave some for others to enjoy, and treat the trees with care.

Residents are invited to attend our Community Assets Project Public Consultation drop-in session on 9 September, anytime between 3.00pm and 7.00pm. This is an opportunity to share your views and help shape the future of Kingsnorth's community spaces and assets.

🎄✨ A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS! ✨🎄

We wanted to say a HUGE congratulations to the winners of our Kingsnorth Design a Christmas Light Competition — Kingsnorth Little Stars 🌟🎅

We received 12 absolutely amazing design entries, and our Councillors had an incredibly tough job choosing just one winner. The competition was extremely close, with so many fantastic and creative designs! 🎨💡

A massive WELL DONE to everyone who took part. Your creativity, imagination and festive spirit really helped make this competition so special. ❤️🎄

We hope you’re very proud of your fantastic winning design! 🎄✨

✨£50 Voucher for Kingsnorth Residents✨

Kingsnorth Parish Council has a partnership with The Nappy Lady, a UK wide specialist in reusable nappies.

Any Kingsnorth resident who would like to try the reusable nappies will receive a £50 voucher to use via The Nappy Lady website.
