We are pleased to share this news from Jack Rankin MP - Working for Windsor. The Parish Council would like to thank all of our residents who have raised their concerns regarding this development and whom have worked alongside the us and our MP to have this appeal dismissed. We will be actively monitoring this matter and will work and support Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead to ensure the enforcement action is complied with. We will also continue to monitor the proposed applications at the former McLaren and Pantiles sites on Station Hill and will remain steadfast in our objections to these proposed developments.

I am pleased to see that the Planning Inspectorate has dismissed the appeal and upheld the enforcement notice without variation for the site at Brockenhurst Road and Oliver Road in Ascot. The Inspector's decision is clear: the appeal fails and the enforcement notice stands.

I have consistently raised residents' concerns about the unauthorised works and the significant impact this development has had on the local community. I also urged the Council to take every possible enforcement action to address the breaches and restore the site.

This decision is welcome news for local residents who have worked tirelessly to ensure their voices were heard. Thank you to everyone who engaged with the process and helped make the case for proper enforcement. With the appeal now dismissed, I trust RBWM will dedicate the necessary enforcement resources to ensure the notice is complied with in full and within the required timeframe. Local residents deserve to see swift and robust action to bring this long-running issue to a conclusion.
