𝐀 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐬 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥 🕊️

This powerful exhibition remembers around 600 innocent men, women and children whose lives were lost through violence across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain and mainland Europe.

Created by dedicated volunteers from SEFF, the memorial quilts honour the lives of those remembered and the lasting legacy they leave behind.

We warmly encourage individuals, community organisations and schools from across the Borough to visit this moving exhibition.

𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 £𝟳𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 🎉

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Henry Cushinan has raised an impressive £6,850 for his three chosen charities at his Inaugural Dinner, held at Dunadry Hotel and Gardens.

The evening brought together representatives from across the Borough, including local sports clubs, community groups and representatives from the Mayor’s three chosen charities, Marie Curie, ALPS (All Lives are Precious) and Brainwaves NI.

💬 Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Henry Cushinan commented, “It is a tremendous honour and privilege to serve as Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey. We have a fantastic Borough, and one that I am extremely proud of. During my term, I hope to continue visiting and meeting the people and organisations who make it such a special place, including the community and voluntary organisations, the local businesses and our fantastic sports clubs.

“I am delighted to have raised £6,850 for my three chosen charities. They each provide vital services, supporting people and families at times when compassion, care and practical help matter most."
