I would treat the ground-effects rings and fallout plume as illustrative rather than technically exact. The exact radius of fireball, blast and thermal effects depends on yield, burst height, weather and other assumptions, and fallout direction changes with wind. The small caption already helps with that, but for a permanent display I’d make the wording even clearer: “Illustrative example only — effects vary by weapon yield, burst height and weather conditions.”

That’s a striking graphic for Scotland’s Secret Bunker, especially for showing visitors just how dramatically nuclear weapon yields increased after 1945.

I would not use this exact version without correcting it, though. At least one important date is wrong: Castle Bravo was detonated in 1954, not 1951. The commercial-airliner comparison is also visually confusing; typical cruising altitude is around 30,000–40,000 ft, rather than 60,000 ft.

The main comparisons are broadly:

Hiroshima — about 15 kilotons
Nagasaki — about 21 kilotons
Licorne — about 1 megaton
Castle Bravo — about 15 megatons
Tsar Bomba — about 50 megatons

For the Bunker, I think we could make a much better, historically accurate version in Scotland’s Secret Bunker branding, with a Cold War operations-room look, clearer heights and corrected dates. It could make an excellent wall display or social-media graphic.
