Morning everyone, particularly the fine people of Tidworth East and Ludgershall South.

I'm conscious that I haven't posted very much on here since the election results last Friday, and just wanted to keep you in the loop on what's been going on and reassure anyone who cares, that I will continue to use social media to both share and receive messages on important issues effecting our community.

Well, I spent the bank holiday weekend celebrating with my family and a few friends in our local, over a few quiet drinks on Friday evening and then coming back down from 50 thousand feet over the rest of the weekend and trying to get my head around the fact I'd actually won.

I had my first visit to the council offices in Trowbridge on Tuesday for day 1 of a 2 week induction package, where the officers and staff who run the council, will try to cram as much information into us newbie Councillors as possible.
So far it's been like drinking from a fire hose.

I also have a day job, which I started back to yesterday, so as I hope you'll appreciate I'm going to be a very busy boy, particularly over the next few weeks, so I ask that you please be patient whilst I get myself acclimatised and up to speed with my new roles and responsibilities.

Please do feel free to reach out with comments or messages on here or alternatively, you can email me directly at my new official Councillor email address [email protected]

OMG we actually did it!!!

I'm proud and humbled to say, I've been elected as the Local Councillor for Tidworth East and Ludgertshall South.

A massive thank you to everyone who got out to vote yesterday but in particular to the 377 people who put their faith in me and Reform UK.

I wll not let you down, we will not let you down.

THE HARD WORK STARTS NOW

THATS A WRAP

I spent the evening outside Ludgershall Memorial Hall engaging with voters on their way in and out of my local Polling Station.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped to chat, offer words of encouragement and support, and confirm they had cast their vote for me and Reform UK. It was a truly humbling experience.

It's impossible to gauge how the vote has gone, so I'm off to bed, no doubt for a sleepless night, laying awake tossing and turning, second guessing myself and wondering if there is any more I could have done to convince people to get out to vote for me and Reform UK.

The count begins tomorrow morning at 0930hrs with results expected to be announced sometime in the early afternoon after all of the ballot papers from polling stations across the county have been tallied and verified.

Good luck to my fellow Reform UK candidates across the country, I'm keeping everthing crossed we all get a positive result tomorrow and hope the silent majority have sent a loud and clear message to the Labour Government and the other members of the UNI Party, that we have had enough and we demand meaningful change.

I will share the results as soon as they are official 🫡

There's Still Time To Get Out To Vote

If you're undecided on who to vote for today, or whether to even bother going to the polling station to cast your vote, I urge you to consider a few questions:

1. Are you happy with the standard of your public services?
2. Do you think your local council is doing a good job and spending your council tax wisely and efficiently?
3. Are you happy with the way the current and previous Governments have been running our country?

If the answer to one or more of those questions is NO then today is your opportunity to do something about it.

Voter apathy is one of the reasons we currently have a Labour Government so your vote really does matter.

If you're in Tidworth East or Ludgershall South then please consider making the effort to get to your local polling station at either Ludgershall Memorial Hall or Tidworth Civic Centre and voting for me.

Wherever else you are in the counrty, I truly believe that it's really really important for you to

HAVE YOUR SAY TODAY AND GET OUT TO VOTE (Preferably for Reform UK) 🙏

OVER TO YOU

I spent all of yesterday afternoon and evening out and about in Perham Down and Tidworth with my family, Debbie Lumsden, Tianna Lumsden and Jasmine Lumsden, distributing the last of my campaign leaflets.

Luckily I still have all my fingers thanks to a sage piece of advice I was given by an experienced leafleteer, at the start of the campaign, to use a wooden spoon to post leaflets through the letterboxes.

That definitely saved me a few digits yesterday in Perham Down, when a dog grabbed the spoon and ripped it out of my hand and in through the letter box. I publicly apologise to the young lady that answered the door looking confused when I asked if I could please have my spoon back.

Anyway, theres nothing left to do but hope and pray that I’ve done enough to convince the voters in Tidworth East and Ludgershall South that I’m the best candidate standing for election and they GOT OUT TO VOTE today and put an X next to Dave Lumsden on their ballot papers.

Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm, so no matter where you are in the country, if you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to vote today and if you think Tidworth East and Ludgershall South needs Reform, Wiltshire needs Reform and Britain Needs Reform, then please, please, please

I spent this evening with my wife Debbie Lumsden and daughter Tianna Lumsden dropping off campaign leaflets and talking with people around the Beech Hill Road and Forrest Drive areas of Tidworth and I have to say the interactions we had were overwhelmingly positive.

I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to chat to us, it really was appreciated and has given me a massive boost leading into Thursday. I’m actually starting to feel like we might just win this.

We’ll be back out again tomorrow for one last final push before polling day, and I plan on getting around all the areas we haven’t been to yet, in Perham Down and Tidworth.

Please keep in mind that no matter where you are in the country, if you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to vote on Thursday it’s really important that you
