The weather is getting nicer! We are starting to get the wellbeing garden spruced up! A couple of our garden chairs didn't last the winter...

We are asking to find out if anyone has any garden furniture they no longer need that they wouldn't mind donating to the station?

Well done to our firefighters at Andover Fire Station who were on hand to rescue 5-year-old Evie who had trapped her knee between two bars on a park bench whilst out with her grandparents earlier this afternoon.

The crew used specialist equipment to stretch the bench and release Evie’s leg!

After a massive thank you from Evie, her parents and grandparents, they posed for a photo in front of the fire engine!

Yesterday we stood to attention for an ex Leading Firefighter Terry Evans, who sadly passed away on 28.05.2024.

Terry spent 27 years working for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, He started off as a firefighter and made his way through the ranks to become a Leading Firefighter.

He had an amazing career and he will be forever remembered for his service and bravery.

We send our thoughts to his wife Janet and his friends and family at this time.

Stand down Leading Firefighter Evans, you have done us proud.

We had the great pleasure of going to Enham last week , we went along for Sharon’s 60th birthday . It was a lovely visit and we had a good chat with everyone , I’d like to say we made Sharon’s day , but in actual fact all the residents made OUR DAY 🚒🚒

A MASSIVE Thankyou to everyone that came to our charity car wash today!!

We are still totalling up but it looks like we raised over £1000 for The Fire Fighters Charity!

CONGRATULATIONS to the new Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service on-call recruits!

We’d like to say a special well done to FF ROBSON!

FF Robson will now be able to respond to calls on the truck with the rest of the crew. Our on-call crew respond from home and have a pager to alert them.
