✨ Exciting news for Andover families! ✨

Today marks the start of a fantastic new project funded by Andover Town Council! Hosted at King Arthur’s Hall after school, this 6-week programme is bringing families with children aged 4–11 together through fun, hands-on cookery sessions.

🍽️ Designed to encourage shared mealtimes and build confidence in the kitchen, these sessions are all about connection, learning, and having fun as a family.

We’ve had a couple of last-minute dropouts, which means a limited number of spaces are now available!

📩 If you’d like to join, please contact Mary to book your place – you’re welcome to attend just one session or all six, whatever works best for you.

Andover Town Council Support Me and My Dad Club with £1,500 Grant

Andover Town Councillors Ted Reynolds, Tony Burley, Andrew Horsnell and John Cockaday paid a visit to the popular Me and My Dad Club during its Saturday session on 16 May 2026 at Spring Meadow Children’s Centre.

The group enjoyed a fantastic morning, with activities centred around road safety alongside a range of fun, engaging sessions for families.

During their visit, the Councillors presented the club’s committee with a £1,500 grant. (photo attached) The funding will contribute towards new equipment and support the club’s upcoming summer fete, scheduled for 15 August 2026.

Me and My Dad Club continue to provide a welcoming and supportive space for families in the community, offering opportunities for learning, play, and connection.

Today, Councillors visited the fantastic Me and My Dad Club during their Saturday session – and what a brilliant morning it was! 🚲✨
We saw lots of children having a great time whizzing around, with today’s session focused on road safety roleplay – learning through play at its best.

Andover Town Council is proud to support Me and My Dad Club, recently awarding £1,500 towards new equipment and their upcoming summer fete.
