With warmer weather on the way, we would like to remind you of the dangers when using disposable BBQs.

These images show the aftermath of a fire that had spread into the roof space of a property, causing significant damage.

🔥 Our key safety advice is:
- Never use disposable BBQs and other products such as firepits, patio heaters, and chimneys on balconies.
- Always place BBQs on stable, non-combustible ground level surfaces.
- Keep BBQs well away from buildings, fences and flammable materials.
- Ensure BBQs are fully extinguished and cool before disposing.
