A fantastic event this morning celebrating CIH Scottish Housing Day - Healthy Homes Healthy Futures.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to our partners from Clackmannanshire Family Support Collaborative, Clacks CLD, NHS, The Gate Foodbank, Sport & Leisure Team, STRIVE and Housing for their support and participation.

A special thank you to Sauchie Community Group for hosting the event and showcasing the fantastic work they do to support the local community.

We are also pleased that all remaining food bags and recipe packs were donated to the Wee County Veterans & Supporters Group, ensuring they continue to benefit local people.

It was a great opportunity to bring partners and residents together, highlight the support available across Clackmannanshire, and celebrate the positive impact of partnership working within our communities.

🌟 Do you stay in Clackmannanshire? Pop along to Sauchie Resource Centre tomorrow, 10am -1pm. Meet housing officers, talk to the housing repairs team, try some exercises to try at home, advice for cooking on a budget, finances, wellbeing, adult care and local support services.

Clackmannanshire CouncilAre you aged 12–18 and want to help make Clackmannanshire better for young people?

We’re inviting young people to join the Transformation Space Youth Decision-Making Panel, where you’ll have a real say in how funding and support can be used to create:

🏡 Safe places to meet
⚽ More clubs, sports, and activities
🌳 Safer parks and public spaces
🤝 Welcoming and inclusive communities

As a panel member, you’ll share your ideas, review project proposals, and help decide which projects should receive funding and support.

No experience is needed — just your ideas and your voice! You will also be paid for your time and contribution.

You’ll have the chance to meet other young people, build confidence and teamwork skills, and help shape the future of Clackmannanshire.

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

The panel will meet every Wednesday 4-5:30pm. Information session Wednesday 16th September at the Bowmar Community Centre.
