The Gate is a local Charity set up to prevent or relieve poverty and improve the conditions of life of marginalized people, facing exclusion, vulnerable or homeless in the Clackmannanshire area. We do this by undertaking projects which offer practical help.

💙 Coalsnaughton Evacuee Amazon Wishlist 💙

Following requests from those affected by the Coalsnaughton evacuation, we have created an Amazon Wishlist containing items that individuals and families have told us they need.

The list will be updated regularly as we continue to receive requests through our support service and gain a better understanding of the needs of those who have been displaced from their homes.

All items purchased from this wishlist will be used solely to support individuals and families affected by the Coalsnaughton evacuation.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated items, offered practical support, shared our posts, or reached out to help. The kindness and generosity shown by our community has been incredible.

We are providing food, practical support, and responding to urgent needs as they arise for people in the community during this difficult time.

We have been asked by the council to help coordinate donations for those affected by the evacuation in Coalsnaughton, and we would be extremely grateful for your support.

Please ensure that all donated items are placed in a bag and clearly marked "Coalsnaughton Appeal" so that we can identify and distribute them quickly.

At the moment, we are particularly looking for:

🛒 Easy-to-microwave meals and food items & snacks
🥫 Tinned foods and long-life groceries
🧼 Cleaning products (washing-up liquid, surface cleaner, cloths, etc.)
🧻 Toiletries and personal care items
🧽 Household essentials

Donations can be dropped off at The Gate, 2 Ludgate, Monday to Friday, between 9.00am and 4.00pm.

As needs become clearer, we will update this list.
