Bolsover District Council has updated their Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan page with information about the referendum on Thursday 4th May 2023. It also contains all documents about the Plan. Please see the link below:

On 20th February 2023, the independent examiner, Chris Collison, completed his examination and recommended that the Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan goes to referendum, with minor modifications.

Now Bolsover District Council are arranging a referendum for the 4th May 2023, the same day as local elections. This is an opportunity for all those qualified to vote to have their say.

It will be a simple Yes or No vote and, if more than 50% vote Yes, then the Plan will be ‘made’ and become a document against which all planning applications will be measured.

This is the first Neighbourhood Plan in the Bolsover District to reach the referendum stage.

Tibshelf Neighbourhood Plan has been approved by the Independent Examiner, with minor modifications, and is now ready to progress to Referendum on 4 May 2023.
