We have had reports of broken bottles on several footpaths in Alcester. This is often hard to see in bright sunlight so please take care particularly if you have a dog with you or are wearing sandals. This kind of behaviour is very disappointing - if you witness any anti social behaviour, please report it to the police on 101.

We now have some spaces left for the trip!! Please call or email to book your place.

Alcester Town Council are proud to receive a Certificate of Merit from The Bee Friendly Trust, recognising the work we are trying to do to help our bees. There are many ways we can all help - grow flowers - provide habitat - say no to pesticides - support insect conservation charities. Come along to our Bee Festival and find out more - Saturday 30th May, 10am until 2pm at Coughton Court.

With the assistance of Alcester Town Council, and for the first time in almost 20 years, Stratford District Council's Street Scene Department cleaned the roadway at Gas House Lane, on 10th May.
The clearance of the extensive build-up of debris revealed that a number of road drains are severely blocked. These will now be reported to Warwickshire County Council Highway Dept. for clearing.

The cleaning would not have been possible without the agreement of Stratford District Council to attend the site at a date and time as requested by Alcester Town Council; Alcester Town Football Club's generous loan of traffic cones and a volunteer to demark the no-parking areas; and finally and most importantly, the co-operation of residents who re-located their vehicles from Gas House Lane to enable access by the road sweeper.
Thank you to you all.
It is proposed that this event be rolled out to other areas of Alcester that suffer from similar issues.
