New outdoor fitness facilities are coming to Runnymede!

We’re really excited to be bringing three brand-new outdoor gyms to parks across the borough:

Gogmore Farm Park, Chertsey

Ottershaw Memorial Fields

Manorcroft Park, Egham

Alongside the new gyms, we’ll also be installing new trim trails at Chertsey Recreation Ground and around Ether Hill in Ottershaw, creating even more opportunities for residents of all ages to get active outdoors.

Once the gyms are open, we’re hoping to organise free introductory sessions with qualified fitness instructors/PTs, giving residents the chance to come along, learn how to use the different equipment safely and confidently, and have a go!

The new facilities have been made possible through a combination of NHS funding, Youth Development Funding, Egham Neighbourhood CIL and Chertsey Neighbourhood CIL, helping us invest in healthier, more active communities and improve opportunities for outdoor activity across the borough.

We’re aiming to have the new facilities installed by the end of the year, and we can’t wait to see residents enjoying them.

Keep an eye on our dedicated webpage for the latest updates on improvements happening in parks and open spaces across the borough.
