Happy Makaton Monday! 🎶🤟

This morning we enjoyed our weekly Makaton session, with lots of favourite songs being sung and signed together. It was fantastic to see everyone joining in and building their communication skills while having fun 😊

We also completed our weekly shopping trip, making sure we had everything we needed for our healthy, home cooked meals throughout the week 🛒🥕🍅

After dinner, one group headed off for a relaxing swim and had a great time in the pool 🏊‍♂️

Meanwhile, the other group rolled up their sleeves and got creative in the kitchen, making delicious homemade pizzas to take home and enjoy with their families 🍕😋

What a fantastic way to end the week! ☀️🎤💃

We rounded off the week with plenty of singing, dancing, laughter and smiles. The music was flowing, the sun was shining, and the atmosphere was amazing.

In fact, people walking past the centre couldn’t resist joining in, with some even stopping for a dance with us! 🕺🎶

Moments like these show the positive impact that community, friendship and having fun together can have. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and making memories.

A brilliant end to another great week. We can’t wait to do it all again next week! 💛

What a brilliant couple of days we’ve had at the day centre ☀️🎬🎤

Yesterday we made the most of the sunshine with games and karaoke out on the car park before heading off for not one but TWO cinema viewings 🍿🎥

Some of the group watched Star Wars whilst others went to see Michael — both went down a treat!

Today has been more of our usual timetable with dance and sports this morning keeping everybody active and smiling 💃⚽

After dinner we headed out for a trip to the park to enjoy the weather before finishing the day with a refreshing drink at the pub 🍹☀️

We also celebrated a staff birthday today which made the day even more special 🎂🥳

Busy days, lots of laughter and plenty of memories made 💛

What a scorcher today has been 🥵☀️

But despite the heat, we still had an absolutely brilliant day at the cabaret 🎤💃🕺

Lots of singing, dancing, laughter and smiles all round. Days like this are what it’s all about…getting out, making memories and enjoying ourselves together 💛

Well… we’ve officially wrapped up another very busy but amazing week at the day centre! 💛

This week has been FULL of activities and we finished it all off in style with a karaoke disco in the garden 🎤⚽🤸☀️

There’s been lots of laughter, singing, dancing, bouncing and plenty of unforgettable moments along the way! Safe to say the energy levels have been HIGH this week 😂

We absolutely love seeing everyone enjoying themselves, getting involved and making beautiful memories together.

Now it’s time to recharge ready for another fun-filled week ahead 🌟

What a fantastic, action-packed day we’ve had today! 🚴🥊⚽

Our adults got involved in disability bikes, boxing sessions and multi-sports — and the smiles said it all! 🙌🏼

Physical activity is so important for everyone and today was a perfect reminder of the many benefits it brings. From building confidence and improving coordination, to supporting mental wellbeing, social interaction and overall health, staying active helps our adults thrive in so many ways.

Most importantly, today was about having FUN, trying new things, supporting each other and celebrating every achievement along the way. We are so proud of everyone for giving it their all and making today such a positive experience! 👏✨

One thing we absolutely LOVE at our day centre is the amazing friendships that are made 💛

From laughing until our stomachs hurt 😂, dancing together 💃🏽🕺, helping each other during activities 🤝 and making memories on days out — there’s never a dull moment!

It’s so lovely to see the bonds our adults build with each other. The friendships, support and fun they share make our centre feel like one big family 🫶

Seeing everyone happy, included and enjoying time together is what makes every day so special. The smiles, laughter and friendships we see every day are truly priceless 🌟

Friends really do make the best memories 💕
