🧡 To all the carers, you deserve support too.

This Carers Week, we’re recognising the important role unpaid carers play in our families and communities.

Carers are people who help look after a family member, friend, or someone they care about. This can be rewarding, but it can also be hard at times.

That’s why this year’s theme, 'Building Carer Friendly Communities', is so important. It’s about making sure carers feel supported, understood, and valued in everyday life, including in schools, workplaces, and local communities.

If you help care for someone who needs support with their health or social care, you’re not alone.

Children and young people have the right to feel safe at home, at school, online, and in their communities. They also have the right to be protected from harm and treated with respect.
