The Aboyne & Glen Tanar Memorial Hall The Aboyne & Glen Tanar Memorial Hall, known as the Victory Hall, is set in the heart of the village of Aboyne in Royal Deeside.

It is a substantial granite building of character, both inside & out, built about one hundred years ago and now C Listed.

Visit local artist Francesca Williams upstairs in the Wee Hall, as part of this years NEOS. Francesca's practice is a reflection of her day-to-day life, living simply and her connections with local flora and fauna. Her work focuses on the importance of plants for a sense of community. Shown within work focused around connecting with the forest while foraging, life cycles within plants, changing seasons and how the perfect imperfections within nature can mirror a human body. Visitors are welcome to view illustrations, see Francesca's printmaking process and have a go at inking and printing their own mini print.
