This Learning Disability Week, we’re celebrating the positive impact funding from our White Horse Community Lottery is having on community organisations that work with residents with learning disabilities. Their work enables people who need additional support to be seen, included, and able to live fulfilled lives.

Thanks to lottery players, organisations like Abingdon Group Riding for the Disabled can continue to support people to build confidence, develop skills and enjoy new experiences.

Did you see anyone dumping waste on Sandford Lane, Kennington?
We’re appealing for witnesses after someone fly-tipped a paddling pool, garden waste, polystyrene, a duvet and a clothes horse. Shockingly, all of these items could have been disposed of entirely FREE OF CHARGE at the Redbridge Recycling Centre, which is just 10 minutes away.
If you have any information about where this rubbish may have come from, saw a vehicle loaded with these items, or have dashcam footage from the area, please contact [email protected] / 01235 422146.

Later today, 11 men cross a white line in Dallas bearing the badge of The Three Lions to represent our country on the world stage.

To show our support for the team as they get their world cup campaign underway, today we are flying the St George's cross flag at our offices in Abingdon.

Maybe this means something profound about unity, or maybe it's just a bunch of blokes kicking about a bag of wind for our entertainment - either way, we have just six words for them:

🦁🦁🦁 Come on England, bring it home 🦁🦁🦁
